DE 222
Built to handle tough seasons
DE 222 is a yellow maize hybrid with excellent drought tolerance and the ability to keep producing even in tough years. It did so well in the national cultivar trials, it ranked second overall! This hybrid is prolific, giving you more cobs per plant, especially when planted at lower populations—perfect for ensuring consistent yields during dry spells.
DE 308
Reliable all-round performer
DE 308 is a yellow maize hybrid you can count on year after year. It’s in the medium growth class and has strong disease tolerance, making it a solid choice across different regions. Farmers all over South Africa have seen stable, consistent results with DE 308. Its semi-flinty grain also makes for an attractive and dependable harvest.
DE 303
Strong Yields with Great Milling
DE 303 is a highly stable and productive yellow hybrid, known for its prolific nature and strong, heavy ears—bigger than DE 111. It’s widely adapted from east to west, giving farmers flexibility no matter where they farm. With its hard grain, DE 303 offers excellent milling quality. For the best yield stability, it performs well at lower plant populations.
